Reference is made to the previous announcements made by Sarawak Consolidated Industries Berhad (“SCIB” or “the Company”) on 26 October 2021, 11 November 2021 and 30 November 2021 on the subject matter. Unless otherwise defined herein, all terms and acronyms used herein shall be the same as those defined in the previous announcements.

Pursuant to Paragraph 9.28(3A) of the MMLR of Bursa Securities, SCIB wishes to announce the status of the issuance of its outstanding Annual Report 2021 as follows:-

(i) The audited financial statements have been issued on 30 December 2021. However, the Annual Report 2021 of SCIB remains outstanding as the Company needs more time to update the statements or reports in the Annual Report and make arrangements for printing; 

(ii) The expected date of issuance of the Annual Report 2021 is 31 January 2022;

(iii) The Company will issue the Annual Report 2021 as soon as possible by the above-expected date of issuance.
