Resignation Of External Auditors

The Board of Directors wish to announce that the Company has on 20 March 2023, received a notice of resignation dated 15 March 2023 from Messrs Nexia SSY PLT (“Nexia”) as External Auditors of the Company, due to their difficulties in allocating sufficient resources requested by the Company based on the competitive fees charged.

Upon deliberation by the Audit Committee and Board of Directors of the Company held today, the Board has resolved to accept the resignation with regret and shall take the necessary steps to appoint new External Auditors to fill up the casual vacancy pursuant to Section 271(2)(b) of the Companies Act, 2016, in which the new appointment shall be announced in due course.
