New Issue Of Securities (Chapter 6 Of Listing Requirements) : Fund Raising

Unless stated otherwise, abbreviations and definitions used throughout this announcement shall bear the same meaning as those defined in the earlier announcements in relation to the Private Placement.

On 13 April 2023 and 20 June 2023, 25,000,000 Placement Shares and 33,203,753 Placement Shares were listed and quoted on the Main Market of Bursa Securities pursuant to the 1st and 2nd tranche of the Private Placement, respectively. Out of up to 82,722,252 new SCIB Shares approved by Bursa Securities vide its letter dated 6 March 2023, only 58,203,753 new SCIB Shares had been placed out pursuant to the 1st and 2nd tranche of the Private Placement. The Board has confirmed that there will be no subsequent tranches or additional Placement Shares to be placed out pursuant to the Private Placement.

Therefore, on behalf of the Board, Malacca Securities wishes to announce that the Private Placement is deemed completed today.
