We refer to the Company’s earlier announcements dated 15 March 2021, 22 September 2021, 6 July 2023, 7 July 2023, 15 April 2024, 25 July 2024, 30 July 2024, 1 August 2024, 13 January 2025, 16 January 2025, 24 January 2025, 27 January 2025, 10 February 2025 and 26 February 2025 (collectively referred to as the “Announcements”).

All abbreviations used in this announcement shall carry the same meaning as that given in the Announcements unless stated otherwise.

The Board of Directors of SCIB (“Company”) wishes to announce that SCIB Properties Sdn. Bhd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of SCIB (“SCIBP” or “the Plaintiff”), had on 7 March 2025, filed a Writ of Summon under Suit No. BA-22NCC-38-03/2025 (“the Suit”) and Statement of Claim (“SOC”) for the recovery of RM19,716,067.67 million against AWANA JV SURIA SAGA SDN. BHD. [Registration No.: 201601020432 (1191370-X)] (“the Defendant”).

The Particular of the Suits are as follows:

1. The sum of RM18,640,249.52 due and owing under the Settlement Agreement 2023 (“SA 2023”);
2. The sum of RM1,075.818.15 due and owing under the Deed of Assignment;
3. Interest at the rate of 5% per annum calculated on daily rest on RM18,640,249.52 from 30.12.2024 until full settlement;
4. Interest at the rate of 8% per annum on RM1,075,818.15 from the date of judgement until full settlement;
5. Costs on a full indemnity basis; and
6. Any other reliefs the Court deems fit and proper.

SCIB will make the necessary announcements as and when there are further material updates.
