KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 22): Sarawak Consolidated Industries Bhd (SCIB) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary SCIB Properties Sdn Bhd has been awarded an RM137 million contract to build housing for civil servants (PPAM), replacing Puncak Gemilang Melati Sdn Bhd, whose appointment as the main contractor had been “nullified.”

SCIB said the developer of the PPAM project in Muallim, Perak — Awana JV Suria Saga Sdn Bhd — had nullified Puncak Gemilang Melati Sdn Bhd as the main contractor and appointed SCIB Properties as the main contractor for the project instead.

INTEGRATED civil construction service provider Sarawak Consolidated Industries Bhd (SCIB) plans to undertake another private placement to raise fresh funds to support its upcoming projects, nine months after it closed a RM66.89 million private placement.

KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 3): Sarawak Consolidated Industries Bhd (SCIB) has bagged two engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning contracts for an estimated total value of RM271.1 million.

The contracts, one in Sarawak and the other in the Gulf nation of Qatar, have increased the group’s order book to RM1.7 billion, the integrated civil construction group said.
