The terms used herein, unless the context otherwise stated, bear the same meaning as those defined in the earlier announcements in relation to the Offer.
We refer to the announcements dated 15 August 2019, 16 August 2019, 19 August 2019, 22 August 2019, 5 September 2019, 17 September 2019, 20 September 2019, 23 September 2019, 24 September 2019 and 25 September 2019 in relation to the Offer.
The Board of Directors of SCIB ("Board") wishes to announce that SCIB has on today received a press notice from UOB Kay Hian Securities (M) Sdn Bhd, on behalf of the Offeror, informing that the Offer has closed at 5.00 p.m. (Malaysian time) on Thursday, 26 September 2019.
In accordance with Paragraph 13.01 of the Rules on Take-overs, Mergers and Compulsory Acquisitions, the disclosure of level of acceptances of the Offer as at 5.00 p.m. (Malaysian time) on 26 September 2019 is set out in the attached press notice.
